Tuition and Fees

Tuition is charged per academic credit hour and will be different according to residency classification.  Fees may vary according to course. The following are the rates, effective July 1, 2005 for Summer, Fall, and Spring semesters:

Maricopa County Resident.....$60 per credit hour

Unclassified Student - Out of State, Out of County.....$85 per credit hour
(Students enrolling for 1-6 semester credit hours within MCCCD)

Out-of-County Resident.....$231 per credit hour
(Students enrolling for 7 or more semester credit hours within MCCCD)

Out-of-State Resident.....$258 per credit hour
(Students enrolling for 7 or more semester credit hours within MCCCD)

Distance Learning.....$147 per credit hour
(Courses offered outside of Arizona including distance learning to
non-resident out-of-state students
.)

Out of State WUE.....$90.00 per credit hour
(Out-of-state students participating in Western Undergraduate Exchange Program.)

Other Fees

Audit Fees.....$25
Students pay an audit fee for each credit they audit in addition to tuition and
fees.

Registration Processing Fee $5

Course Fees
Some courses may have additional costs. The college reserves the right to
add and adjust course fees as deemed appropriate.

Returned Check Fee.....$15 per check.

Transcript Fee.....$5 for official transcript.
Unofficial transcript..... Free

Payment Method

Tuition and Fees may be paid via Maricopa Online using Visa, Discover, MasterCard, or American Express. Students may also pay with a credit card by calling 480-731-8255 for automated service, or 602-285-7777 for operator assistance. Payments made by check may be mailed, or dropped in the payment box located in the Cashiers Office lobby. Cash payments should only be made in person at the Cashiers Office.

The college reserves the right to cancel the registration of any student who does not pay fees by the due date. However, it remains the responsibility of students wishing to withdraw to notify the Admissions and Records office by the refund deadlines.

Contact the Financial Aid office if you need financial assistance in the form of scholarships, employment, grants or student loans.


Refunds
Any student who has officially dropped or withdrawn from the college or individual classes within the scheduled deadline, will be eligible for a tuition refund or tuition credit based on the refund schedule. Special and miscellaneous fees will not be refunded.

Refund requests beyond published deadlines will not be considered.
