Participants:

Receive the services of a designated Academic Advisor at both the community college and university level.

Are eligible for scholarships and loan programs specifically designated for UTC participants

Can take the majority of their classes during late afternoon or evening hours.

Can enroll in specially created evening courses, offered on-site at district schools

Can take courses together, as a cohort, if they are pursuing the Multilingual /Multicultural degree program.

Depending on their school district, participants are granted work-release time to participate in professional development conferences, seminars and field experiences.

Have guaranteed admission to Arizona State University College of Education -Main campus, if Initial Teacher Certification criteria is met.

Have priority in obtaining employment as teachers within their school district upon graduation and certification.
