Short Story Discussion

Participants will read and discuss stories by the finest masters of the short literary form.  Small group activities are designed to get everyone involved in interpretation and shared impressions.

Readers' Theater

No acting ability needed to join our Readers' Theatre, just an interest in dramatic literature and a desire to exercise the mind and emotions through thoughtful reading.  Readers' Theatre is a collaborative oral reading activity using voices, facial expression, and hand gestures to interpret characters in scripts or stories.  The class will explore beginning techniques and how to adapt stories, poetry, and plays for the medium.

News & Money Series

An in-depth look at current events and how they affect money and investments, including a broad historical perspective of the economy and the stock market.  Free course, however, registration is required.

Art All Around Us

A art lecture series presented by the Phoenix Art Museum docents.  Free course, however, registration is required.
