CRITERION #5 SUBCOMMITTEE MEETING

December 6, 2004

Present: John, Queta, Nan, Sara, Sue (for Frank)

Review of agenda for the meeting and last meeting’s minutes.

Review of draft for introduction – everyone read through the introduction and agreed that it sounds good.

Handout of Definitions for Criterion 5 – for the programs that do not have a definition, Sara will consult with the program coordinator to get a definition. For the CEU definition Sara will update to better reflect what its’ purpose is. Queta will distribute to the committee and ask for each to provide additional information as needed. For CEG definition note that it is online resource only. PCAA may be another acronym to add to the definitions list.

Handout of Data Archives for Criterion 5 – This lists all the information that is currently online and will be updated as more information is received. Looking at the Data Archives, someone will be assigned each section, and that person will then review, present and inform the committee, looking at strengths, weaknesses, and changes made in the last ten years, allowing the committee to then decide if they want to use it as an example of evidence. The following people will review the following information and be responsible for updating the committee at the next meeting:

Queta – Strategic Planning Process, PCACE, Title V,

Sara – President’s Roundtable

Nan – CEU, Dental Programs

Cheryl – Testing Center

Julie, Dianne – Occupational Assessment

John – Recruitment and Retention

Trino – O’Neil Survey

To the data archives page add the CCSSE survey as well.

The documents will be emailed, then presented before the committee, reviewed and posted to the website once it is approved.

Handout of criteria for 5D

Volunteer activities will be demonstrated in this section (Nan is looking into this)

Economic and workforce development activities is being looked at through Trino’s area

Facility use – showed by beige form (hand-out) given by Priscilla, shows how facility use has changed, given to external constituents.

CEU is a major component of this section.

Reports for evidence are due to Queta 1/12/05.
