HLC Criterion 3 Meeting Notes
March 7, 2005
The HLC Criterion

attendance were Mike Mitchell, Chair; Joy Fitzpatrick; Kristin Anderson;
Pam Rogers; Sharon Halford; Brent Jamison; Charles Turrentine; and

Mike began the
meeting by welcoming student Charles Turrentine and suggesting the
committee outline sections 3b, c, and 3d. All are already in draft
form, but the drafts can be modified based on the proposed outlines.
After discussion, it was agreed that
we should provide a definition of effective teaching to
begin 3b, since it appears to be elemental to this section.
