Phoenix College
Phoenix College is a comprehensive community college responsive to
the changing needs of its diverse community and individuals pursuing academic,
occupational, developmental and personal enrichment goals.
Department of Dental Programs
The Department of Dental Programs is dedicated to provide quality
instruction to students, and to develop skilled, socially and ethically
sensitive dental hygiene and dental assisting professionals who are
pledged to continued professional growth. We are committed to provide
quality dental care to our patients and to serve as a source of information
and education to the community.
Dental Hygiene Program
The mission of the Phoenix College Dental Hygiene Program is to guide
dental hygiene students toward excellence in providing comprehensive
dental hygiene therapy, and to inspire in them a commitment to continued
professional development and community service.
Dental Assisting Program
The mission of the Phoenix College Dental Assisting Program is to
create and maintain for the dental assisting student, an environment
of growth, the ability to meet challenges and the awareness of their
unlimited potential as a member of the dental health team.
Center for Health Professions
The mission of the Phoenix College Center for Health Professions is
to expand upon the scientific and professional knowledge of health
care providers; by presenting quality continuing education courses
that promote current concepts of practice and excellence in patient
care services.
