The Internship Program offers qualified
students the opportunity to gain experience related to their
major field of study and provide the opportunity for real
life experiences on the job.
Students
- gain practical experience
- obtain recommendations for future
employment
- become acquainted with professionals
in the field in their respective area of business
- develop an understanding of professional
responsibilities
- reaffirm career goals
- earn college credit toward graduation
- a few internships are paid
Expectations
- Placements are designed to correlate
with the students' career goals and objectives.
- Students may sign up for one, two
or three credit internships in one or more areas of business.
- Students work 80 hours per credit
per semester.
- Students must prepare a resume with
relevant courses highlighted and list Phoenix College under
education
- A faculty internship advisor oversees
the academic component of the internship.
