Welcome to the Phoenix College New Student System home page.
The Maricopa Community College District is in the process of converting
the current Student Information System (SIS) to an innovative, more powerful
system that more effectively supports faculty, staff, and student access
to MCCD data. This large scale project includes:
- The Maricopa Project Leadership Team (PLT). This team is charged with
implementation, testing, training, and interacting/responding with the
colleges to provide a seamless deployment of the new system.
- A College Implementation
Team (CIT). Members of this team consist of functional representatives
from a variety of departments. Each CIT has developed a campus plan
for implementation
- A web-based product, the New Student System will provide seamless
processes including a single student database and shadow systems
- The system will be available to colleges for training purposes by July 1, 2005. The adjusted Go-Live target date is February 2006.
