The Computer Commons is committed to maintaining an academic atmosphere conducive to optimal learning and is for academic use only. Please adhere to the following policies.
Playing games, watching videos not related to a class, viewing pornographic or explicit sexual material, downloading, and copying commercial music and movies, account sharing, and online chatting are all strictly prohibited.
According to federal copyright act of 1976, it is ILLEGAL to copy any printed or electronic copyrighted materials including:
software, music
audiovisual works, graphics, literary, choreographic works, and pantomimes...
Keep food and drinks at the entrance of the library.
Children are prohibited in the Computer Commons.
Put your cell phone on vibrate or turn off and take cell phone conversations outside of the library.
Failure to follow the policies will result in forfeiture of access to the Computer Commons for one semester.
