defeated Marshalltown (Iowa) 3-0 to advance to the Championship
Match of the 2007 NJCAA National Championship Tournament.

Yavapai Defeats Illinois
Central to Open NJCAA Title Chase For
just the second time this season, Yavapai was held to one
goal in a match. While the first resulted in a 2-1 road loss
at San Jacinto, the second came in a 1-0 victory in the opening
round of the 2007 NJCAA National Championship Tournament.

Yavapai Advances to
Nationals...AGAIN Yavapai
College (21-2-0) defeated North Idaho College 4-2 for the
NJCAA West District Championship on Saturday. With the victory,
Yavapai qualifies for their 17th NJCAA National Tournament
in Tyler, Texas, Nov. 15-18. Yavapai (414-29-13 all-time)
has captured five national championships, six national runner-up
awards and finished in the top four nationally 15 times since
1990.
Yavapai to Face North
Idaho for District Championship Yavapai
College (20-2-0), which won the Region I Championship for
their 17th Region I title since 1990, will face North Idaho
College for the West District Championship and right to advance
to the National Tournament in Tyler, Texas. The district title
match is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 3rd,
at Ken Lindley Field in Prescott.

Stats Coming September 9th The
ACCAC will begin reporting of the 2007 men's and women's soccer
statistical leaders on September 9th.
PC Opens 2007 Season,
Yavapai & Mesa First ACCAC Match Phoenix
College will host Southwest College at 8:00 p.m. in the first
match of the 2007 season for all ACCAC programs. On August
24th, Mesa will travel to Yavapai for a 6:00 p.m. kickoff
in the first match pitting ACCAC programs in 2007.

NJCAA Championships After PK Losses Officially,
Yavapai recorded a pair of ties in the 2006 NJCAA Division
I Men's Soccer Championships. Unfortunately for the Roughriders
both ties resulted in losses in penalty kicks to boot them
