Central Arizona Advances to NJCAA D1 World Series — Central Arizona defeated Trinidad State 12-1 and 6-1 to capture the District Championship and advance to the NJCAA Division I College World Series in Grand Junction, CO.

Central Arizona Wins Region I Division 1 Title — #3 seed Central Arizona swept top-seed Yavapai 12-2 and 8-6 to capture the 2008 NJCAA Region I Division 1 Championship. CAC's Honeycutt Selected NJCAA Player of the Week — Central Arizona's Ryan Honeycutt has been selected the NJCAA Division I National Player of the Week for the week ending March 19th. Honeycutt, a freshman from Las Cruces, NM, helped lead Central to three victories on the week by batting .667 (10-15) and driving in 10 runs. His best performance came when he went 4-for-5 at the plate with five RBI. Of his four hits, two were doubles and he also scored two runs and was credited with a stolen base. Honeycutt also pitched one scoreless inning in CAC's 8-1 win over El Paso Community College (Texas).
