Central Arizona's Ryan Honeycutt is the NJCAA Region I Division 1 Player of the Week. Honeycutt helped the Vaqueros to a 4-0 record last week by batting .667 (10-15) with a homerun and 11 RBI, He also scored four runs.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Derek Benham

Derek Benham of Arizona Western is the NJCAA Region I Division 1 Pitcher of the Week. Benham had only one start on the week, but made the most of it by pitching a five-inning shutout of NMMI. Benham gave up only two hits while striking out six Bronco batters.

The NJCAA Region I Division 2 Pitcher of the Week is Tony Fagan of Mesa. Fagan pitched a complete game shutout of Illinois Central, allowing just one hit that came with two outs in the seventh inning. He walked only one while striking out a pair.

Jared McDonald of Pima is the NJCAA Region 1 Division 1 Player of the Week. McDonald helped the Aztecs to a 3-3 record on the week. He batted .705 (12-17), including three doubles,
three homeruns, seven RBI and seven stolen bases.

Garcia pitched a complete game shutout of Yavapai, limiting the Roughriders to just two hits, while
striking out nine batters.

Barbosa, went six innings of shutout ball while striking out seven batters, as the Matadors defeated Chandler-Gilbert 5-0.

Glendale's Pedro Ramos is the Region I Division 2 Pitcher of the Week. Ramos pitched a complete game shutout of Gateway, scattering seven hits over nine innings while striking out five. Ramos lowered his ACCAC leading ERA to 0.97.
