The welding courses at Phoenix College are especially designed
to equip individuals with skills needed to secure and hold jobs in the
welding industry. The courses also provide valuable opportunities for
upgrading skills and career advancement for those already employed in
the welding industry. Even those wishing to learn welding as a hobby are
welcome to attend class.
Certification and licensure is available to those who qualify. The American
Welding Society (A.W.S.) certification welding examinations are offered
through Phoenix College in WLD 208 and Military Specifications is offered
in WLD 206.
