Video Production

Media Services has the ability to produce professional quality video productions in a digital format. We can assist faculty and staff in producing short "movie clips" for web sites, produce videos for instructional support and training videos. There are some fees involved with this service.


Media Services can also provide a simple "cuts only" video-tape editing system for use by instructors wanting to do their own editing.

 
 

 

Video Tape Duplication

When instructors or staff need a copy of a video that they use in a classroom, or for a meeting the Media Services department is setup to meet that need. We are equipped with a duplication system that is capable of 20 copies at one time.

Please note that all videotapes duplicated need a copyright release where necessary.

 

  
 
 
 

 

Audio Production

Currently we are using the latest in digital audio production with the Digi001 system which uses
Pro Tools LE. With this system we are able to create a CD ready for duplication and distribution.

 
 
 

 

Campus Bulletin Board System - 15th Ave Marquee

The Phoenix College Campus is equipped with a Bulletin Board System broadcast in the cafeteria, Admissions and Records, Advisement, and in most of the classrooms. A student, faculty or staff can quickly find out about events on campus by tuning to channel 24 here on campus.

Along 15th Avenue at the corner of Hoy Field there is a Marquee that also displays a list of current events on campus.

Both the Bulletin Board and the 15th AVE Marquee are available for advertisement of campus events, classes, and programs. To have information placed on ether one or both of these systems contact Media Services at (602)285-7479 or e-mail us at media@pcmail.maricopa.edu.

 
 
 
 

 

 

Design/Installation

Media Services provides assistance in the planning and installation of new technology for classroom support. Assisting an instructor in choosing the right equipment for their needs is just part of the job, designing equipment and wiring layouts, purchasing, installing, and finally training are other services that are provided to meet the mission statement of the Media Services department.
