Case Study #3

A 65-year old female patient presents at the dental office with the chief complaint being that her lower front teeth have begun turning pink.

Upon closer examination, #24 and #25 appear to have changed from their normal pale white color to a light shade of pink. She stated she has been aware of this for the past year.

Review of her medical history indicated she was taking an anti-histamine for seasonal allergies. She had sustained a fracture to her left leg one year ago. Vitals were within normal limits and the oral cancer exam revealed only ankyloglossia. Her blood pressure was 100/64.
