Policies & Procedures

The Computer Commons is committed to maintaining an academic atmosphere conducive to optimal learning and is for academic use only. Please adhere to the following policies.

Use of the CC is for currently enrolled students who are in at the very least a one credit course. Viewing pornographic or explicit sexual material, downloading, and copying commercial music and movies, and account sharing are all strictly prohibited.

According to federal copyright act of 1976, it is ILLEGAL to copy any printed or electronic copyrighted materials including:
software, music audiovisual works, graphics, literary, choreographic works, and pantomimes...

Keep food and drinks at the entrance of the library.

Children are not allowed in the Computer Commons at anytime, even if they are accompanied or supervised by an adult.

Put your cell phone on vibrate or turn off and take cell phone conversations outside of the library.

Failure to follow the policies will result in forfeiture of access to the Computer Commons for one semester.
