Counseling Instructional Council

WELCOME to the MCCD Counseling Instructional Council website. The Council serves to coordinate and support the ten counseling departments in the Maricopa Community College District. Through this site you can access the activities of the CIC including its mission, membership, minutes of meetings, and other activities.

Through its various committees, CIC

• reviews and develops curriculum
• reviews hiring qualifications
• explores new technology to support counseling
• conducts research on counselor effectiveness
• facilitates the professional development of counselors in the District.

Each committee has its own webpage which can be accessed through the icons at the bottom of this page.
