Arizona to Play in First Ever Chihuahua Bowl
Eastern
Arizona will take its 9-2 record into the post season for the first
time in school history when the Gila Monsters take on the Mexican
All-Stars in the first-ever Chihuahua Bowl in Chihuahua Bowl. The
match-up will take place at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th as a lead-up
to the annual Aztec Bowl on December 8th. | more

Mesa,
ranked #8 entering the game, defeated #9 Fort Scott 47-31 to win
the 2007 VBalley of the Sun Bowl. In a meeting of the top two teams
in the nation, #2 ranked Butler upended top-seed Snow 56-27 in the

Year, has been tabbed the WSFL Offensive Player of the Year for
2007. Snow College's Coleby Clawson is the WSFL's Defensive Player
of the Year. Snow, which ended the regular season as the NJCAA's
top-ranked squad, placed 11 players on the All-WSFL teams. | more

Dunn led Mesa to an 8-2 regular season record to garner NJCAA Region
I Coach of the Year honors. Eastern Arizona's Pat Riley and Mesa's

Rico Brooks of Eastern and Tevita Finau of Phoenix were selected

were honored for their role in the big win. Jon Eastman was tabbed
the WSFL Offensive Player of the Week while teammate Andrew Rich
took the WSFL Defensive Player of the Year award. New Mexico Military's
Troy Seivwright-Adams returned his third punt of the season for
a touchdown to take home WSFL Special Teams Player of the Week honors.

off. Top-ranked Snow defeated #4 ranked Eastern Arizona 55-21 to
take the lead in the WSF and make a National statement to solidify

Eastern
Arizona's Darrius Jackson ran for 179 yards to earn the WSFL Offensive
Player of the Week award. Arizona Western's Jeromy Jones picked
up the WSFL Defensive Player of the Year honor after posting 11
tackles and an interception. Regan Buck helped Sno College remain
unbeaten and earned the WSFL Special Teams Player of the Week honor.

Snow
College will travel to the Air Force JV, Glendale will host the
Phoenix Rebels, Eastern travels to the New Mexico Crush and Pima
