Timeline for Testing
Committee discussed the possibility of meeting the April 22, 2005 SAILS deadline for completion of testing and sending demographic data. Alternative date to end testing is June 18, 2005.

The Committee agreed that the deadline could be met if recruitment of classes begins before the testing period and if all of the Committee members participate - - along with Damita and Jan, if necessary.

Tentative timeline:
March 21 through April 8 - Test 25 classes
April 8 - Notify SAILS that testing is completed
April 15 - Receive Excel File with unique identifiers from SAILS
April 18 - Convert SAILS unique identifies into school identifier
April 19 through 21 - Pull 6 pieces of demographic data
April 22 - Send data in Excel file back to SAILS

ACTION ITEMS:
1. Ann will check with GCC on the GPA they use (College GPA or District GPA).
2. Michelle will check with Symeon to ensure that the unique identifiers formed during online testing do not match those used with paper testing.
3. Ann will send Jan the SAILS demographic data instructions and Mary Thompson's email address.

Classes to Test in Spring
Committee agreed to test approximately 12 ENG102 sections and approximately 13 classes from other disciplines identified on the Curriculum Map. The Committee also agreed to test 4 more classes in Group 1 to meet the recommended 370 students for statistical analysis.

ACTION ITEM:
Ann will email the Committee the list of courses/sections with instructors' names that were identified in the meeting.

NEXT MEETING: Committee will use email to communicate and assign duties related to Spring testing.
