Notes from February 3, 2005 Meeting

Present: Ann Roselle (Chair), Linn Dowd, Michelle Dyer-Hurdon, Debby Kurtz-Weidinger, Linda Offenberg, and Elizabeth Saliba.

Project Sails Testing
The Committee reviewed their outreach activities over the last couple of months.

• Group 1 - 4 additional classes are confirmed for testing. This will complete Group 1.
• Group 2 - 20 classes confirmed for testing.

Action Item: Committee will follow-up with instructors to confirm specific dates/times of testing and to recruit at least 5 more classes for Group 2.

Unmonitored Testing (i.e. WebCT students taking test on their own)

• Testing should be completed between March 21-April 8
• Instructors will be given the URL closer to the test period
• Instructors should send us a list of students who have claimed to have taken the test. Michelle can confirm that students have taken the test via our internal Project SAILS database.
• Except for Gail Rae's ENG071, students should be reminded to select GROUP 2 when taking the test of their own.
