to submit samples is an ongoing challenge.

Mike reported that the portfolio assessment is complete. They are
working on getting feedback to instructors in order to review data
and discuss.
Liz, Oral presentation
Committee is currently rating presentations. Some faculty members
are improving assignments based on their feedback.
Pam, ESL
Committee will be doing assessment in December for all levels of ESL.
Will be looking at both grammar and paragraph samples. Committee plans
to evaluate in December and have feedback to faculty by January. They
also plan to create help sheets for faculty based on assessment results
and areas that need improvement.
Camilla, Developmental Ed
Fall surveys are currently being evaluated. Committee will have a
meeting in early December to discuss implementing Spring assessments,
which will be similar to the Fall assessments.
