• Find the Title V Software on
the right hand of the screen
• Select (click once) the Math Software
option
• Select Maple 6 from the Math
Software menu
• Maple should be ready to work on
• There are two input modes to
work on: Command mode and Text mode
• In order to execute a calculation, Maple must
be in command mode
• The [> symbol next to the
cursor on the computer screen indicates that Maple is in command mode
• In order to write an explanation
to a lab question, Maple must be in text mode (so that it acts
like a word processor)
• To put Maple in text mode, click the T
icon on the tool bar
• To save your documents, first go to File
the scroll to Save As…
• Look for the drives box click
on it and set it on the A Drive
• Then enter a file name and click Save
• If you want to exit an activity you are working
on, click on file the scroll down to Exit
