Ariz., Sept. 17, 2003) – A number of Phoenix College scholarship
donors and fall semester awardees were recognized Friday night in the
Culinary Cafe during the Phoenix College Recognition Ceremony for Scholarship
Recipients and Donors. This event was co-hosted by the Phoenix College
Alumni Association and the Office of Alumni & Development/Scholarship
Relations. The Master of Ceremonies was Scott Hauert, Faculty Senate President.
"Kudos to the Alumni
Office for the outstanding scholarship reception dinner last Friday,"
said Rene Delgado, Re-Entry Coordinator/AWARE Club Advisor. "It was
quite an inspiration to be present in a room that was brimming with generosity,
success, and promise of even more success! The students at the our table
were quite inspired to apply for more scholarships and continue their
quest for higher education."
Special congratulations to
all the scholarship recipients and much appreciation to the donors who
continue to make these awards possible year after year.
