Hispanic Heritage Month Activities Get Underway at Phoenix College
The story of two mercenaries, raised as brothers, and their jealous relationship with the stunningly beautiful Casilda. At the end of the Reform War, Pedro and Damián begin a new life that leads them on a path to gambling, robbery and murder. The cards drawn seemingly determine their destiny. Loosely based on the life of the films director, Vidas Errantes captures his love on film. This movie shows the beauty of the countryside and the flavor of small town living poignantly conveying the peoples love of cinema, often the towns only entertainment. Francisco and his young assistant, Guillermo, dedicate themselves to traveling from town to town exhibiting movies. With the profits that they make from the projection of films, Francisco constructs a movie theater in the outskirts of one of the towns, leading to a series of unforeseen events. (This film is in Spanish with English subtitles.)
