Students Applaud Festive Homecoming Activities
The pep rally also included several games like a bungee bull ride, Velcro wall, potato sack races and a pie toss. "I've been out here since 10 a.m.," said Maria Greenwood, PC Bookstore assistant manager. "I love that my game booth is right next to the bungee bull ride. It's so funny to see the riders get tossed off the bungee bull. Everyone is just out here having tons of fun." The pep rally also included a number of student clubs and organizations such as the Black Student Union, Young Democrats and the Chess Club. "We are here to tell voters where their polling places are," said one member of the Young Democrats, Megan McPherson. "We are also offering to drive voters to their individual polling place on Election Day. There is such a good turnout at the rally this year. There is a lot of entertainment and it's great to see everyone come together for school spirit. The rally is really hyping everyone up for the game."
"We have music, games, food and free massages," said student, John Allen. "The entire atmosphere is just so much fun. I couldn't wish for anything more well, I guess that we beat Pima."
