WHAT:

Are you excited about the upcoming presidential debate? If so, Phoenix College welcomes students and community members to take part in the debate action.

Phoenix College Student Life & Leadership and the Liberal Arts Department will host a presidential debate watch that covers Domestic and Economic Policy. The college will also facilitate a pre-debate and post-debate discussion among panelists. Participants will be given the opportunity to ask questions of the panelists and take part in a discussion with other voters.

WHEN:

Wednesday, October 13
Pre-debate discussion from 5:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Debate watch from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Panelist discussion and audience questions from 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Phoenix College Campus - The Bear’s Den

WHO:

Invited panelists include Democratic House candidates for District 15, Krysten Sinema and David Lujan and Republican House candidates for District 15, Tara Roesler and Oksana Komarnyckyi. Student panelists include Stephen Nally and Jeff Goodman. The event is sponsored by Student Life & Leadership and the Liberal Arts Department.

The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
