(PHOENIX,
Ariz., Oct. 3, 2003) Phoenix College sure knows how to host a party!
With days full of food, music, social gatherings, the famous dunk tank
and Bumstead appearances, it was quite evident that Homecoming festivities
were well underway at Phoenix College.
As the JamBEARee spirit
filtered across campus from the college pep rally to the employee ice
cream social, employees were excitedly cheering on the Bears.
The
Office/Department decorating contest seemed to kick off the contagious
spirit as offices transformed into football fields, solar planets, blue
and gold masterpieces and a museum of fine arts just to name a
few. Then it was the infamous pep rally, full of legendary karaoke, delicious
fry bread and the unforgettable dunk tank. (The dunk tank seemed to be
hit with students, faculty and staff.) The pep rally allowed the college
to recognize and support the team as it gears up to take on the Scottsdale
Artichokes.
Thursdays ice cream social
encouraged the campus to come out and enjoy an array of cool desserts.
Winners of the decorating contest were also announced. They included:
