International Education Lecture Series Presents: Destination London Oct. 16
Each year, Eroe leads a tour of students, faculty, staff and community members through the different theatres in London. His two-week study tour concentrates primarily on the contemporary theatre of England as well as its rich theatrical heritage. Participants attend plays, backstage tours, museum tours, historical city and site tours and scheduled seminars on English theatre. In addition to his lecture, Eroe will provide information on how interested individuals can participate in the upcoming 2004 tour. According to Eroe, the tour will have a minimum of eight shows in London and two in Stratford-Upon-Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare. All participants can schedule additional shows at their own cost and attendees will also meet with a London Theatre Critic for an overview of the London theatre scene. Participating guests will stay in the heart of the London Theatre District allowing easy access to the major West End Theatres, the National Theatre, The British Museum, The National Galleries, Covent Garden and other historical and cultural sites. For more information about his free lecture, please call (602) 285-7800. Refreshments will also be available after the lecture.
