(PHOENIX, Ariz., Oct. 1, 2003 - On Friday September 26, the college officially kicked off its new branding identity campaign with a 7a.m. meeting entitled "Connecting to Community: A New Identity for Phoenix College."

The meeting began with a brief skit where the old college mascot, Bumstead the Bear, was magically morphed into a new and improved incarnation. Next, President Corina Gardea and Marketing Director Mike Murphy took the attendees through a visual presentation of the new campaign, including the new logos and service message, brochure designs and advertising messages.
