Community Information Fair Set for Nov. 5

 


(PHOENIX, Ariz., Oct. 30, 2003)—More than 45 community service agencies and universities will come to Phoenix College’s Sophomore Square on Wed., Nov. 5 from 9 a.m. until noon, providing students and members of the community with information about their services, volunteer and networking opportunities.

Participants include: Fresh Start Women’s Foundation, Friendly House, Phoenix Indian Center, Big Brothers Big Sisters, ASU, NAU and many others. Throughout the day, representatives from participating organizations will give referrals, distribute literature and answer questions.

The Community Information Fair is sponsored by the Phoenix College A.W.A.R.E. (Adults Who Are Returning to Education) Club and Phoenix College’s Re-Entry Center. The event is free and open to the public.
