WHAT:

The McConnell Singers Women’s Community Choir will present their annual winter Happy Holidays concert at Phoenix College. The program will feature a seasonal sing-a-long as well as familiar songs and choral pieces. The event will feature a guest performance by First Institutional Baptist Church Choir.

WHO:

As musical representatives of Phoenix College, the McConnell singers give concerts for organizations, clubs, churches and community service fundraising projects. The choir has performed in four Czech cities, Germany, Austria, England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. Director, Dan Hooper, has been performing on piano since age five. Currently, he is a music faculty member at Phoenix College and teaches private piano and voice lessons. His noteworthy compositions have been published by NALR-Epoch and Santa Barbara Music Publishers and have been performed in New York, Chicago, San Antonio, Strasbourg and Phoenix.

Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for students.
