Hail
storm paints a surreal landscape on campus.
Evening students and staff members were treated last night
to a sudden and unexpected sight as the rain storm sweeping across
the city
turned into hail. The skylight in the Administration Building resounded
with the percussion of the marble-sized ice pellets and College
Safety officers had to navigate their carts through a potentially
painful
curtain
of hail and rain to insure that students were not caught in the downpour.
Cheryl Colan from Media Services
and Joe Gonzales from Marketing took photos of this phenomenon.
