(PHOENIX, Ariz., March 31, 2004) – Are you an aspiring poet? Do you have a favorite poem written by someone else? If so, mark your calendar for the 7th Annual Poetry Contest and Readings set for Tuesday, April 13. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the North Staff Lounge – Hannelly Center (Inside the Cafeteria).

To compete for prizes, individuals must read from their own work. Participants may read from the work of other writers; however, they will not be able to compete for event prizes.

The 7th Annual Poetry Contest and Readings is open to the campus community and refreshments will be served.
