Lecture on Fidel’s Cuba Set for March 27

The Phoenix College Foreign Language Department and International Education Committee will sponsor a passionate and powerful lecture, Fidel’s Cuba on Thursday, March 27. Beginning at 12 p.m. in the Dome Conference Room – Osborn Campus, Professor Elias Esquer will present his lecture.

Esquer will share his findings on study abroad and faculty exchange/professional growth opportunities in Cuba. He will also discuss the economics, politics and administration of travel to Cuba, as well as art, religion, music, geography and the people.

The PowerPoint presentation will showcase photographs and provide information he gathered in December on a research trip to Cuba, which was organized by NAFSA, Association of International Educators.
