(PHOENIX, Ariz., July 20, 2004) The Phoenix College Athletic Department
celebrates its recent national academic victory of 20 individual All-Americans,
nine Distinguished All-Americans, three Distinguished All-Americans with
4.0 GPA, nine Academic All-American Teams and a 2003-2004 NJCAA Academic
Team of the Year. All academic success awards were given by the National
Junior College Athletic Association.

(Individuals
must have a minimum of a 3.6 GPA (3.8 for distinguished status) and have
completed three semesters or college work in addition to no less than
one year of collegiate athletic participation.)
