Phoenix College CTE New Command Spanish Training Now Available

(PHOENIX, Ariz., Jan. 19, 2005) - What do entities like Bashas', Scottsdale Memorial Hospital, and the City of Phoenix have in common? They all recognize the importance of providing Command Spanish® instruction to their employees and have contracted with Phoenix College Custom Training & Education (CTE) to deliver this valuable on-the-job language instruction.

CTE is a Licensed Official Registered Provider of Command Spanish®, Inc. language and cross-cultural training programs. Command Spanish®, Inc. is the nation's leading provider of occupational Spanish language and cross-cultural training and materials. As a Licensed Official Registered Provider, CTE can offer on-site, job-specific Spanish language and cross-cultural training in such diverse areas as nursing, law enforcement, dentistry, public safety, construction, hospitality, banking, office management, warehousing, manufacturing and retail sales. On-campus, open enrollment courses will also be offered based on community interest beginning with the Spring 2005 semester. The programs are all non-grammar based. No previous Spanish experience is necessary to enroll in Command Spanish® courses, which are low-stress, direct, fun, and last between 8-24 hours. Classes are taught by certified instructors who are sensitive to the learning styles of adults especially when dealing with language acquisition.

This is job-specific Spanish training the helps business maximize effectiveness and profit in the new, multilingual business world. Companies who want to prosper in this new multilingual business world must be equipped to do so now and in the future. CTE is available to streamline a course to meet the particular needs of business phrase by phrase.
