PC Hosts College Goal Sunday - Jan. 30

 

 

WHAT:

College Goal Sunday is a FREE event designed to help Arizona college-bound students and their families with the financial aid application process. Financial aid professionals will be on hand to provide line-by-line assistance in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to get the funding needed to go to college. In addition, College Goal Sunday will have a drawing at each site for a $1,000 College Savings Account and a $200 College Goal Sunday Site Scholarship.


WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

Arizona high school seniors and their families and anyone else who needs college financial aid and wants assistance completing the FAFSA form should make an effort to attend this event.

If you are interested in filling out the FAFSA form at College Goal Sunday, here is a list of items you should bring:

* If you are 23-years-of-age or younger, bring your parents and their 2004 income data (W-2's or a pay stub and/or 2004 tax return).

* If you are 24-years-of-age or older, bring your and your spouse's (if married) 2004 income information.

College Goal Sunday is sponsored by Waddell & Reed, USA Funds and Lumina Foundation for Education. The event is coordinated by the Arizona Commission for Postsecondary Education (ACPE) and the Arizona Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (AASFAA).
