(PHOENIX, Ariz., Feb. 5, 2004) – On Thursday, Feb. 19 the Phoenix College Business Department will award $16,300 in scholarships to 45 Business students for the Spring semester. Students will receive scholarships ranging from $100 to $500.

The recognition ceremony, which will get underway at 6:30 p.m. in the Bulpitt Auditorium, will include special guest and keynote speaker, Mariel Pereyra. Pereyra is a Phoenix College alumnus and former employee. She was also recognized and nominated for Outstanding Senior for Supply Chain Management at ASU and recently accepted a position at Honeywell. She is a true inspiration to students and is an excellent example of the caliber of the students at Phoenix College.
