The Phoenix Symphony String Orchestra To Perform at
Phoenix College Feb. 26


WHAT:
The Phoenix College Honors Program will host Symphony Connections with the Phoenix Symphony String Orchestra as part of the program’s lecture series. The event is free and guests can enjoy a number of selections ranging from Mozart to Puccini.

WHO:
Symphony Connections is a cooperative program between the Phoenix Symphony and the Maricopa Community Colleges, which brings musical opportunities to students and the campus community. Several Phoenix Symphony Sinfonietta or string orchestra concerts are held at various campuses throughout the year.

The Sinfonietta presents short concerts at schools throughout the valley as part of the symphony’s education program. In addition, members also demonstrate instruments and musical concepts and answer questions in these lively, interactive sessions.
