(PHOENIX, Ariz., Jan. 28, 2004) – One in every four Americans between the ages of 15 and 55 will contract at least one sexually transmitted infection/disease this year. Avoid becoming a statistic by attending the Phoenix College STDs/HIV & YOU free forums held on February 10, 12 and 13 in the Hannelly Center - Student Life and Leadership area (lower level).

These free, interactive and informative sessions will be held for students and the community and will focus on the prevalence, dangers and prevention of STDs and HIV.

Guest experts including medical professional, Dr. James Eitner and college faculty and staff will interact with participants during each program. Health literature and contraceptives will also be available free of charge.
