Class Helps Adults Get Organized - It's Time to Clean the Clutter!


WHAT:

Do you have too much clutter in your life? It is time to take control and clean up the mess! If so, the Phoenix College Adult Education Program can help with a four-week course entitled You Can Get Organized. This unique class is designed for individuals wishing to gain control over clutter and become better organized. Participants will learn simple solutions, which will help them to better manage paper and hone their time management skills.

Topics will include:
--What causes clutter;
--How to deal with possession (our "stuff");
--Paper management, bill paying, tax records;
--Storing photos and memorabilia; and,
--Managing time and getting the most important things done.

WHO:

Instructor, Betty Thompson, a member of the Arizona Professional Organizers Association, is a local organizer, teacher, former business owner and manager with many years of experience organizing homes and offices. Thompson has extensive hands-on experience in down-sizing and relocating, for both local and long-distance moves. Her specialty is taking small, confined areas and making them work to their full potential.


She has developed simple, easy-to-use systems for files and memorabilia storage and has trained many Arizona teachers to assist their students in the use of good time management techniques for better success in school and life.
