Business Department Hands Out Approximately $9,000 in Scholarships

The Phoenix College Business Department awarded approximately $9,000 in scholarship money to 28 students during a recent Business Scholarship Reception. These awards will help fund the students’ 2003 Spring semester.

A number of special guests attended the reception including Maricopa Governing Board members, Mrs. Linda B. Rosenthal and Mr. Ed Contreras, Dean of Instruction, Ms. Marian Tadano, Dean of Administrative Services, Dr. Jim Moore and Dean of Student Development and Services, Mr. Morris Johnson.

"The Business Department is proud to be able to hand out almost $9,000 in scholarship assistance to Phoenix College business students for Spring semester," said Business faculty, Darrell Carnahan. "This was so much fun, we are planning on doing it again next semester."
