College Needs Donor Homes for No-Cost Home Inspections

WHAT:

The Phoenix College Home Inspection Program is looking for approximately 30 donor homes within central Phoenix for home inspector student-candidates to inspect.

Students in the Phoenix College Home Inspection Program are preparing for a career in residential home inspection and need actual home inspection practice before they can apply for the State's home inspector certification.

The state requires a post-secondary education in home inspection standards, practices and requirements along with an extensive amount of practical inspection experience.

Each inspection is likely to take about 2 to 2 ½ hours. All inspections will be scheduled from either 9 a.m. to noon or from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. A copy of the home inspection findings will be mailed to donors shortly after the conclusion of the inspection.
