Models Parade Hot Holiday Wear During Winter Wonderland Fashion Show

(PHOENIX, Ariz., Dec. 10, 2003) – Move over Milan. There is a new Fashion Mecca in town known as The Fashion Network and its designers are making waves in the local community.

Designers of The Fashion Network caught spectators by surprise as they showcased their latest designs at the Phoenix College Winter Wonderland Fashion Show. From traditional blacks to lime greens, unique styles ranged from the traditional to the outlandish. The show literally had a little something for everyone.

President of The Fashion Network, Joanne Levee introduced models as they strutted down the catwalk, revealing approximately 20 different designs.

The Fashion Network, a student club, was organized by and for students who are interested in any aspect of fashion: designers, seamstresses, photographers, illustrators, merchandisers and pattern makers. The club exposes students to resources and experiences that will enhance their education in fashion.

The club allows members to apply their skills and knowledge to real fashion scenarios. For example, they network with Arizona and national fashion and manufacturing communities to assist them in achieving success in their careers.

Phoenix College students who are interested in joining the club are encouraged to attend an upcoming meeting. Club meetings are held every Monday at 5 p.m. in HC 3.

Stay tuned, The Fashion Network is planning another fashion showcase this Spring.
