    The Phoenix Composers Alliance will present Voices, a new music concert series, on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. The concert will be held in the Phoenix College Sessions Theatre and the admission is free.

Audience members will get a true taste of the unexpected as Phoenix College composition students reveal some of their most creative and unique work. The talent and dedication exemplified by these students will leave many guests eager to see the next performance. It is a "must see" performance.

Voices will feature nine different original composition pieces. They include the following:
·  A Song of Psalms;
·  So Italian;
·  American Lullaby (1930);
·  Renewal;
·  Monologue in C Minor;
·  Bajo las Sombras de los Árboles;
·  Remitting Rains;
·  Early in the Morning (1958); and
·  A Demonstration in an Electronic Landscape.

Overall, preparing for Voices has given students the opportunity to learn the basics of film design and music composition.

The Phoenix Composers Alliance strives to promote the awareness and understanding of contemporary music on the Phoenix College campus. The alliance organizes frequent lectures and guest appearances, in addition to sponsoring annual new music concerts, which present both student and faculty works.
