The Phoenix College Assessment Department recently returned from the annual statewide GED Institute Conference with a little more than continuing education credits. They captured three top honor awards.

Rosemary Schweigert, Coordinator of Student Assessment at Phoenix College, not only presented at the conference, but she also received an award for her Outstanding Testing Service.

"We were so excited to bring these awards back to the Phoenix College family," said Schweigert. "With 42 test centers in the state, our hard work and accommodations were recognized…what an honor!"

The department received an award for "Model Test Center" and "Most Special Needs Accommodations Tests."

Dean of Student Development & Services, Morris Johnson is the Chief Administrative Officer for the department.
