Fashion Network Presents Fantasy: An Evening of Student Fashion
Fantasy: An Evening of Student Fashion is a student produced fashion show that will feature designers from The Fashion Network, a newly founded club at Phoenix College. Designers will feature an array of pieces ranging from business appropriate to evening wear. Of course, designers will adhere to the events theme Fantasy and incorporate the most vibrant and pastel colors into their work. Some of the participating designers have been featured in previous local shows including: Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Arts Fashion Show, Label Horde Fashion Show, Paper Heart Art Gallery Fashion Show, Ice Hose Fashion Show and the Underground Fashion Show. Participating sponsors include Toni & Guy and Phosphor Photography. The Fashion Network, a student club, was organized by and for students who are interested in any aspect of fashion: designers, seamstresses, photographers, illustrators, merchandisers and pattern makers. The club exposes students to resources and experiences that will enhance their education in fashion. The club allows members to apply their skills and knowledge to real fashion scenarios. For example, they network with Arizona and national fashion and manufacturing communities to assist them in achieving success in their careers. Cost for admission is $7, which also includes pre-show refreshments and access to the fashion boutique. All proceeds will help fund a club trip to the Fashion District in L.A.
