The Library faculty provide instruction in information literacy, information studies and research skills. These typically take the following form:
- Individual information literacy class sessions taught by a librarian and geared to a specific research assignment in a course. These can take place within the library, the regular classroom, or online.
- Information Studies classes : IFS101 "Information Skills for the Digital Age" (3 credits, "L" designation), and Library Skills classes: LBS201 "Electronic Resources Concepts & Skills" (1 credit). Select the "Courses" link in the yellow menu box for more information.
- One-on-one research sessions with students, by appointment.
- Assist other faculty in creating assignments which integrate information literacy skills development into their coursework.
