Phoenix College Model UN successfully concluded its Fall Conference last Saturday,
October 4th.

Representative Ken Clark and former Representative Barry Wong for delivering
the keynote address;
Linda Rosenthal, Maricopa Colleges Governing Board member, for serving in the
panel of the judges;
Renee Kerr (UNA-USA and Bank One) for her generous financial and organizational
support without whom this conference would not have been possible; Phoenix College
President Dr. Corina Gardea and Dean Morris Johnson for their support to Model
UN;

simulation; Loren Newman (Intl. Studies Academy) and Connie Miller (PC Alumni/Scholarship)
for serving as home government; Khabira Raheem, Amelia Celoza, Shelley Hung,
Claudia LeBaron, Minerva Jordan, Melissa Hoffman, Tony Pineda, Dr. K-lee Starland,
and others who made the conference possible through their assistance; and, to
all the students from the International Studies Academy, Phoenix College (International
Students Association), Arizona State University and Mesa Community College Model
UN for their active participation.
