DESCRIPTION: My mother was murdered and my father remained alone with five children to his charge. My father could not offer us consolation. Instead, he isolated us. He took us to the beach, to a stranger’s cabin. Everything changed in that house. We were united by depression and alcohol. My father carried a lot alcohol, every alcoholic beverage imaginable. It was there where we began our tradition of alcoholic empathy in the family.
It was a summer, and the only thing I wanted was to leave that place.
